The 75-inch FORESEEN Avatar model virtual showcase project, commissioned by Aftab Khodro Group, became a favorite experience among visitors at the auto show held at the Shahr-e Aftab Exhibition Center
This year, the auto show at the Shahr-e Aftab Exhibition Center was one of those events where the halls filled with crowds from the very first hours. Among the large, brightly lit automotive stands, the stand of theAftab Khodro had made a different choice; instead of displaying only cars and technical specifications, it had placed an experience at the center of the stand:the 75-inch FORESEEN Avatar model virtual showcase.
The idea behind this project was clear from the start; in a space where all brands compete to be seen, make the audience not just stop and look, but stop and be seen themselves.
This is exactly what the Avatar virtual showcase does. It places the audience at the center of the process. The person stands in front of the device, their image is captured, and moments later, an avatar version of their face appears on a full-length 75-inch display; an image framed from the very first moment with the logo and visual identity of Aftab Khodro Group.
In this way, the device is neither a simple display nor a passing amusement, but rather an interactive advertising tool that transforms the connection between the brand and the audience from viewing into participation.
An experience that happened in just a few seconds
One of the reasons for the constant crowd at the Aftab Khodro stand in Shahr-e Aftab was the simplicity and speed of this experience. The visitor did not need training, registration, or a long wait:
First, they stood in front of the device and the system captured their image. Then the facial image was transformed into an avatar character, and the person saw a different and engaging version of themselves on the display.
Within this same frame, the visual identity of Aftab Khodro Group was also present, so the user's personal experience was accompanied by the brand name from the moment it took shape.
Then came the moment of capturing the image. The user saved their final avatar image; an image that was no longer just a personal photo, but branded content. And then, with a printer connected to the device, it was also possible to receive a printed copy, turning this digital memory into a physical keepsake that the visitor could take home.
Why did this showcase succeed in Shahr-e Aftab?
At crowded exhibitions like Shahr-e Aftab, attracting attention is difficult at first, and holding that attention is even harder. The Avatar virtual showcase did both at the same time.
Unlike traditional advertising, where the audience only sees the brand message, here the audience themselves were the subject. Young people tried it several times with different poses, families stood together in front of the device and laughed, and even specialist visitors from the automotive sector who had come for technical review became engaged in the experience for a few moments.
That pause of a few minutes created a valuable opportunity for the stand. When a person stopped to see their avatar image, they naturally spent more time within the space of Aftab Khodro Group, started conversations with the experts, and remembered the brand name along with a positive feeling.
The most important difference of this product is precisely this direct interaction; an experience in which the brand becomes part of the audience’s personal memory, not just a banner in the background of photos.
The 75-inch FORESEEN Avatar model virtual showcase project for Aftab Khodro Group at the Shahr-e Aftab auto show showed that in the bustle of a major exhibition, the winner is not the one who speaks louder, but the one who gives the audience a chance to be seen; a chance that this time was captured and printed in the frame of Aftab Khodro.
