FORESEEN 75-inch digital signage project

The FORESEEN 75-inch digital signage project, together with chroma key background-removal software, was carried out for Ri-Sun Oil at the Auto Show held at the Shahr-e Aftab Exhibition Center.

At the Shahr-e Aftab Auto Show, where the halls were packed with crowds, light, and sound, the Ri-Sun Oil stand presented a different scene: people stood with their backs to the bustle of the exhibition and their faces toward a 75-inch floor-standing monitor, laughing and taking videos and photos of themselves. Yet on the monitor, there was no sign of the exhibition background. Each person saw themselves in another space.

This was exactly the project FORESEEN delivered for Ri-Sun Oil: 75-inch digital signage together with chroma key background-removal software.

Digital signage in simple terms

In simple terms, digital signage is an industrial monitor for visual communication, from urban display screens to in-stand advertising displays. Its difference from printed banners and traditional signs lies precisely in this: changing the message and content is reduced to a few clicks, with no need for reprinting or reinstallation. In this project, FORESEEN combined that same industrial capability with an interactive idea.

The story began the moment a visitor stood in front of the unit and saw their own live image on the monitor. Up to that point, everything resembled a digital mirror, but a second later the real exhibition background disappeared, and the person saw themselves in a completely different setting; a designed, visually appealing space ready for photography.

That surprise itself was the starting point of the stand’s buzz. The audience expected to see themselves against the crowded hall background, but suddenly found themselves in a different frame. The natural reaction was obvious: phones came out, poses were struck, and photos and videos began.

The smart aspect of this scenario for Ri-Sun Oil was that the client’s brand appeared in all of those photos and videos. The framing was designed so that the company’s visual identity became part of that new space. As a result, what visitors enthusiastically shared on Instagram, WhatsApp, and family groups was not just a souvenir photo; it was branded content that carried the name of Ri-Sun Oil with it, spreading it at no additional cost.

Throughout the days of the Shahr-e Aftab Auto Show, this cycle repeated itself time and again: stopping out of curiosity, standing in front of the unit, delight at the background change, capturing photos and videos, and remaining within the stand space. Younger visitors came back several times with different poses, families took group photos, and even professional visitors who had come for work were tempted to try standing in front of the unit.

The difference between this experience and one-way advertising was precisely this participation. The audience did not merely look at the brand message; they stepped into the brand’s frame. The digital signage had turned from an information tool into a point of interaction; a tool that both brought bustle and energy to the stand and created more opportunities for conversation with Ri-Sun Oil’s experts.

Ri-Sun Oil’s execution at Shahr-e Aftab showed that at an exhibition where everyone is trying to be seen, sometimes the best approach is to let the audience be seen themselves; but in a space you have created, with your name engraved in its corner.
